The government of Turkmenistan has revealed the general details for the proposed Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway development project. The plan includes maintenance and road service points, placement of payment terminals, resting places, and communication facilities along the 600-km highway route. A USD 2.40bn (EUR 2.08bn) state loan has been allocated for the implementation of this project.
