German construction company Hochtief and Swiss construction company Implenia have won a joint contract with German railway services provider Deutsche Bahn (DB) for the construction of the second main line of the suburban railway in Munich, Germany. Implenia will provide the technical leadership of their joint venture creating the central station, Marienhof. The contract is worth around EUR 400mn (USD 461.37mn). Each company holds a 50% stake in the joint venture.
